HG MAGNETITE IRON ORE
This is a high-grade, finely ground product obtained after beneficiation of raw magnetite ore. It has a high iron content and low impurity levels, making it ideal for advanced steelmaking processes.
Main Application:
- Feedstock for pellet production and direct reduction iron (DRI) plants.
- Used in electric arc furnace (EAF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) steelmaking.
- High-purity grades are used in magnetite-based dense media separation and electromagnetic applications.
Appearance:
- Color: Deep black
- Form: Fine, dry powder or moist slurry (depending on delivery format)
- Texture: Very smooth and soft to the touch when dry
- Particle Size: Ultrafine — ~45 microns or finer
