Yellow Corn

Yellow Corn (Maize) – one of the most popular foods, and after wheat and rice, it is the most important cereal grain in the world.  Yellow corn is characterized by high starch content (up to 70%) and fat (4-6%), small fiber content (2-4%)   It provides nutrition to both humans (33.3%) and animals (66.6 %). The grains are rich in vitamins A, C and E, carbohydrates, and essential minerals, and contain 9% protein. They are also rich in dietary fiber and calories which are a good source of energy.
